Just a few months ago, the Daily Elk Citian wrote about Jenny Jarnagin, a 1995 Elk City High School graduate and a self-made musician. Two years ago, Jarnagin was finally offered the opportunity to step into a recording studio for the first time to make her music a permanent piece of history. But now, Jarnagin is moving on to even bigger things in her music career.

"I just licensed 12 songs to 5 Alarm Music with offices in NY and LA," she said. "It seems they have songs in every show on TV."

Also in May, PLA Media in Nashville, Tenn. took Jarnagin on as a client.

"I'm very excited about it because it finally feels like my career is moving forward," she said.
