Corn Bible Academy's Board of Education is now raising funds to move its campus from Corn to Clinton. Although the official campaign and public meetings have not yet begun, Superintendent Curt Cloud told the Clinton Daily News the school has already received between $300,000 and $400,000 to put towards the effort.
According to Charles Regier, CBA director of development, the move is entirely contingent on how much is raised.
The board has its eye on the land adjacent to the Western Oklahoma Christian School campus south of Clinton on Beverly Lane, Cloud told the Clinton Daily News.
The money they currently have is enough to purchase the land, but the school will need to build a building and Cloud said, there is "no room in the budget" for a mortgage right now.
