West-Central Red Cross celebrates open house

The American Red Cross in Elk City has seen improvements throughout it's history in western Oklahoma.

This past week, the organization celebrated it's move into a new and better office in the armory and the addition of the chapter's first emergency response vehicle.

Cherrie Nutley, executive director of Elk City's chapter, said these additions make the Red Cross' operation more efficient.
