Sayre Memorial Hospital will be managed by Mercy, a Catholic health care system with hospitals in Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas.
The six-month management agreement includes the appointment of interim CEO Jim Grocholski, who replaces Board of Trustees Chairman Mike Blevins, who stepped in as interim CEO.
Grocholski was most recently was interim CEO of Guymon's Memorial Hospital of Texas County. According to a Mercy press release, ownership of the hospital will remain with the Sayre Memorial Hospital Board, but "Mercy will provide expertise on managing the facility and its operations."
